GM 15x8 Rally Wheel & Firestone Steel Radial GR70-15 Tire Survivor 1975 Corvette

  

This is an original 15x8 Rally Wheel and original tire that was removed from a low mileage 1975 Corvette that was being restomodded. This wheel and tire were in the spare tire compartment and had not seen the light of day for many decades. I believe the tire is the original that was installed by the factory. The heat stamping on the tire reads as follows: "VDU5 FM7317". The wheel is stamped as follows by the valve stem: "K-1-5 2 (valve stem) 9 AZ" This is an awesome survivor wheel and tire.

This wheel and tire are in awesome survivor condition as shown. The wheel still wears its original paint and has no corrosion or damage. All lug holes are in great shape. The tire looks great as shown and holds air. I even used it as a spare on my 70 El Camino when it got a flat and it holds air well and even rides nice. The tire does have some cracking as we all do after over 40 years. I would not plan on driving on this tire due to its age(although I did). It would make a great display.
