NOS Vintage Huffy Sears Wheel Banana Seat Muscle Bike Steering Wheel Center Post

  

A NOS Huffy Wheel steering wheel center post. This is the post that the steering wheel mounts to on the Huffy, Sears, Firestone, and Wester Flyer Wheel muscle bikes in the late 1960's early 1970's. The post has the correct star shaped mounting on the end of the post and is the correct 14 inch length. It is a NOS item, not a smashed and ground down seat post with the wrong length. Note that this stem will only work on a Huffy Wheel steering wheel, it WILL NOT work with the Murray Top Wheel style steering wheel, the mounting to the wheel is different for the Murray version.

The post has very nice chrome with a few shelf wear marks on the chrome post from being stored loose in the shop where it was found. The center bolt, stem wedge and washer are all in great shape. This would be great to match with a nice original or NOS Huffy steering wheel that is missing the post.
