The Delco model number is 986529 as shown. This radio is original equipment for 1966 Chevelles and El Caminos and will also ft 1967 models. In 1967, new federal safety requirements required the pushbuttons and slide bar to be more curved to reduce injuries during a collision. These real deal 1966 radios are very rare and hard to find.

Don't miss this nice original example. This radio is in good original condition as shown.

The chrome face shines well with good reflection and light pitting as shown. All push buttons and dials work as they should. The volume control is a bit stiff and the inner tone knob wants to move along with the volume which I'm sure could be remedied.

The tuner shaft is a bit rusty toward the end where the knob attaches and still hold the knob and tunes as it should. The case is very clean original with light surface corrosion the the original tag intact as shown. I took a video showing this radio being tested.
