OEM Porsche Steering Wheel Butterfly Horn Button Batwing 911 912 1965-1968 REAL

  
This is an original Porsche steering wheel horn button made by VDM. This was removed from the factory VDM steering wheel in my other listings. It may also fit other years and models. Please confirm your specific application. This center cap/horn button is in good original condition as shown. The cast butterfly piece is in great shape with no corrosion, breaks, or repairs. The paint appears to be original with wear as shown. Came to me with the guts removed and in a bag.

I reattached the pieces to show that everything is there. The hardware all looks very nice with the rubber piece being a bit deteriorated as shown. I think there is supposed to be a pad behind the leather piece as shown which is not there. The leather piece is in good condition with no tears as shown.

I believe the leather may be a bit shrunken and I think it can be save with some leather conditioning, etc. The other pieces like the trim ring and backing plate are also in good shape with light wear as expected. See the last picture to see what it looks like installed on a wheel.
